25th Anniversary

Subseries consists of records relating to the planning and execution of an exhibit and supporting events in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Jewish Historical Society of BC and the dedication of the Nemetz Family Jewish Community Archives. The exhibit was called Creating Community: Images of Vancouver's Jewish History. It was held at the Sidney & Gertrude Zack Gallery in the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver from February 13th until March 12th, 1997. There was an opening gala for the exhibit as well as a commemorative journal, which reflected the exhibit and included the names of people, organizations, and corporations that contributed to the project. The supporting events included a historic fashion show, a raffle, an antiques road show, and a genealogical workshop.

2nd Annual Gala

Subseries consists of records relating to the planning and execution of the Jewish Museum and Archives of British Columbia's 2nd Annual Gala event in 2009. The gala program included a performance by the Kol Halev ensemble, a silent auction, and an exhibit tour.
