Series consists of a variety of correspondence files from general correspondence to correspondence amongst board members.

Series consists of files on a variety of Congregation Emanu-El committees including: board; restoration committee; education committee; cultural committee; small communities committee; social action committee; High Holidays committee; finance committee; ritual committee; religious committee; membership committee; land use committee; house committee; and the Hamakom committee.

Series consists of a variety of publications, including the Congregation Emanu-El newsletter "Koleinu".

Restoration

Series consists of files on the restoration of Congregation Emanu-El (1978-1982) to remove the stucco and restore the interior and exterior. Series also includes files on when Congregation Emanu-El became designated as a National Historic Site (1979 with a ceremony in 1983).

Renovation (Matanah G’Dolah Project)

Series consists of files regarding the building of the addition now known as the Al and Sylvia Fisher Building, the Congregation Emanu-El Educational and Cultural Centre, which was completed in 2003.
