Original Jewish Western Bulletin article published December 1, 1977: First torah of Beth Tikvah, held by Congregation Hebrew School student Lorne Reisler, will be dedicated during Shabbat morning services December 3. The Torah was donated by Mr. and Mrs. J. Wiesenthal of Winnipeg, relatives of a family in Beth Tikvah. An eternal Light, purchased through the Alvin Chuly Memorial Fund, will also be dedicated. Also pictured above are Linda Coblin and Motti Lis, who act as gabbai for the Congregation.
