Letter - February 3, 1964

Letter from Stanley, [Freida] Unsworth and their children in Port Clements, B.C. on Queen Charlotte Islands (now known as Haida Gwaii) to the United Milling and Grain Co. Limited in Vancouver, dated February 3, 1964. The Unsworth family, who operate a farm, express their sadness regarding learning of the company's closure. They also write kind words about the company letting them know how much they valued doing business with them.

Handwriting on verso reads "Mr. Greive (neighbor of S. Unsworth family) cutting oats on his small farm at Sewall, B.C., Q.C. Is. (PO. Port Clements). Picture taken in 1957. Just before this picture is being sent now (Feb '64), Mr. Greive celebrated his 88th birthday, on Jan. 6th, 1964. He is still active in his garden and woodlot."

Stamp on fronts reads "NOV 57)".
