The fonds consists of administrative and operational records generated by a variety of B’nai B’rith lodges and chapters, including: Victoria Lodge #365 and Victoria Lodge #758; Vancouver Lions’ Gate Vancouver Lodge #668 (Samuel Lodge #668 ; Vancouver Lodge #668); B’nai B’rith Women; Lions’ Gate Lodge #1716; B’nai B’rith Youth Organization; District 4; Alec Jackson; and Lions’ Gate B’nai B’rith Building Society.

Joint Zionist Congress, 162 delegates

Photograph depicts a document which contains the names and portraits of the 162 delegates of the first Zionist Congress of the Zionist Organization that occurred August 29-31, 1897, in Basel, Switzerland. The Congress was headed by Theodor Herzl (who is pictured in the largest portrait in the center). Writing on this document is in Hebrew and German.

Photograph depicts the first B'nai B'rith installation banquet in Vancouver. Written on verso: First Installation Banquet of B'nai B'rith in Vancouver took place in 1910. The year in which Samuel Lodge 668 (now Vancouver Lodge) was founded. The late Judge Samuel Schultz, first local president of B'nai B'rith is sitting just to the left of the menorah.
