Oral history interview with Edwina Heller who was born in 1914 in Warsaw. She taught music for a number of years at the University of British Columbia.

Oral History Interview with Mordechai (Robert) Edel for the JMABC Artists Scribe. Interviewed by Daniella Givon. Edel was born in England in 1949, but describes the life stories of him and his family spanning across Europe, North America and within Israel. These stories include his family's experience with the Holocaust and his growing up Jewish; they also detail his many professions before becoming an artist including musician or hazzan, hairdresser, and photographer. Edel's primary medium of art is oil painting which is in the impressionist style, and constantly informed by his Jewish faith and heritage. Edel tells anecdotes of some of the people he's met through his art within Canada and abroad, and his most memorable commissions along the way.

Interview with Ida Kaplan. Interviewed by Irene Dodeck for The Scribe, 2018. Ida talks about her childhood, her escape from Poland in World War II, her new life in Vancouver, and her business, Kaplan's Deli and Catering.

Ida is assisted by her daughter Odie in recalling events throughout the duration of the interview.

Oral history interview with Margaret Libbert who was born in the former Moravian capital of Brno in 1928, than part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Margaret discusses the challenges her family faced having to uproot themselves and relocate to England when Germany invaded Austria in 1938. The family landed in Montreal initially but travelled by train and arrived in Vancouver by 1940. Margaret studied International Relations and Russia at UBC, she was on the Students Council and first woman elected President of Literary and Scientific executive at UBC. She than worked for the government of Canada.

Oral History Interview with Mia Weinberg for the JMABC Artists Scribe. Interviewed by Bill Gruenthal. Mia was born in London, England in 1958. She describes her life as a child of German-Jewish refugees post-WWII, growing up in England and the role this had on her life, including her art work. She discusses her transition from a materials technologist in England to an immigrant in Vancouver, going to art school in her 30s and becoming an independent working artist. Mia is known for working with unconventional materials in her works, most often sculpture and installations.

Oral history interview with Hilda Everall who was born in Germany in 1923. Her interview discusses her experiences growing up in Germany, the rise of Nazism, wartime in England and her time in Vancouver where she engaged with the Jewish community such as through joining the National Council of Jewish Women and the Holocaust Education Centre.

Oral history interview with Susan (nee Ricardo) Quastel, who was born in the Netherlands, 1923. She lost her sister and parents to the Holocaust. Susan worked as a nurse throughout the war in Holland, than began studied nursing and a course on matrons at Oxford. Susan came to Vancouver primarily because of her husband who was from Vancouver. Susan is a member of the National Council of Jewish Women, Vancouver chapter of Hadassah, Jewish Family Services, of Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University and has helped research at the Vancouver Holocaust Society.
