Oral history interview with Morris Saltzman who was born in Winnipeg, 1918. Morris's father brought the family to Vancouver because he was became a successful merchant, eventually owning two grocery stores; 1st in wholesale potato business; second on corner of Nelson and Bute St. Morris was involved in and or speaks of B'nai B'rith, Jewish Community Fund and Council, Zionist Organization, Community Fund and Council, Vancouver Lodge and St. John's Shaughnessy Men's Club.

Oral history interview with Al Kolberg who was born in Saskatoon, 1919. His father came from Russia in 1905 where he worked as a shochet. Al recalls the reasons for Jewish assimilation in Vancouver in the early to mid twentieth century.

Oral history interview with Abe Jampolsky who was born in Lipton like his two brothers. Abe's grandparents were Ukrainians who emigrated to Canada in 1906. Met his wife Ldyia, in Montreal and after having children moved to Vancouver in 1955. Besides running a successful clothing business, Abe participated throughout the Jewish community in Vancouver. He was involved in the B. I. men’s club, the Jewish Community Centre, the Israel Bonds Committee, the Jewish National Fund, Vancouver's Talmud Torah and the Sharey Tefillah congregation. Abe speaks of the changing nature of the business dealing with Chinese clientele in the 80's and 90's when he'd started serving Caucasians as the Asian community had not expanded until the last quarter of the century.

Oral history interview with Judy Zaitzow who was born in Vancouver. Her Grandfather William Seidelman was a postmaster and a shochet. Judy discusses her family history in detail through her Grandparents, parents, brother and sisters. Judy volunteers time with the Beth Israel school board, Hadassah, was door-to-door volunteer for Mothers March (forerunner of United Way), and for Heart & Stroke fund.

Oral history interview with Joseph and Rose Youngson. Joseph was born outside of Vilna in 1904 while Rose was born in England. Joseph emigrated to Canada in 1922 to avoid conscription. He taught Hebrew for a number of years across the prairies.

Oral history interview with Fannie Segall who was born in 1892. Was involved in the; Legion; Zionist's, fund-raising, Ladies Auxiliary. She moved to Vancouver for better opportunities for her children than they could receive in Cupar.

Oral history interview with Jessie Anne Allman. Jessie worked for 'Children's Aid Society' and the Hadassah, helping to establish over 20 new chapters in Vancouver and Saskatchewan. Worked with the Jewish Family Service Agency.

Jessie's mother started the 'Quick Help Society' and was a member of the Hadassah.

Oral history interview with Dr. Lloyd Mallin who was born in Saskatchewan in 1920. He received degree in Dentistry from the University of Alberta.

Oral history interview with Blossom Wine who was born in Saskatchewan. Involved in Hadassah and active in active in B’nai Brith. After her husband passed away she became a travel agent and saw the development of Israel over many continuous years.
