Part of Congregation Beth Israel fonds
Photograph depicts Ari Solomon with his parents Rabbi Wilfred and Phyllis Solomon. Ari is dressed in the outfit of a shtetl heder boy because he was participating with Cantor Murray Nixon in a Congregation Beth Israel concert. One of the songs the Cantor sang was about a melamed teaching a young boy the aleph bet (in Yiddish, some of the words were kometz aleph oh...) and Ari played the heder boy.
