Oral history interview with Meta Zalkowitz. Her husband and later her sons were partners in a glucose plant in New Westminster. Meta was active in New Westminster's Hadassah chapter and continued involvement by joining Vancouver's chapter after moving.

Oral History interview with Doreen Herzstein. She recounts her life growing up in Zimbabwe; the Jewish life and Zionist leaning of the community. She also mentions the strong Hadassah and Union of Jewish Women in Haare. After she was married, she lived in South Africa for a couple of years but left when the Nationalist Party came to power in 1948. They moved back to Zimbabwe and raised their children there. In the 1970’s they told their children to leave Zimbabwe and they followed in 1977. They originally moved to Edmonton, but it was too cold, and they moved to Vancouver. Doreen talks about the welcoming community on the North Shore, hiking, and walking with the Ramblers.

Oral interview with Ronnie Tessler. Interviewed by Gene Gerber. Tessler was born in 1944 in Saskatchewan. She speaks about growing up in Winnipeg, her family, her photography, and her contributions to the Jewish community through her work with Louis Brier, Soviet Jewry Advocacy and Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre.

Oral history interview with Dr. Bluma Tischler, who was born 1924 in Baranowicz, Poland - now Baranavichy in Belarus. Bluma and her husband Issac attended medical school at the University of Odessa, than studied in Munich, Germany. Bulma and Issac wanted to emigrate to the United States but due to their quota's being full they decided to come to Canada.

Judy discusses her family history in detail through her Grandparents, parents, brother and sisters. Judy volunteers time with the Beth Israel school board, Hadassah, was door-to-door volunteer for Mothers March (forerunner of United Way), and for Heart & Stroke fund.
