The fonds consists of records from Dr. Irving and Phyliss Snider, including photographs, documents, films and artifacts. The fonds is arranged into 5 series: Travel slides; Photographs; Documents; Audio-Visual; and Artifacts.

Series contains black and white prints which documents Irving Snider’s family and early life growing up in Vancouver (particularly his Mother, sister and friends) as well as his time in Portland, Oregon attending dental school at North Pacific College, his time as a Captain with the Dental Corp, and his time in Dawson City. This series also contains colour prints which documents Dr. Irving and Phyliss Snider’s later life including Irving’s 90th birthday party.

Jewish Community Centre celebration June 9, 1996

Audio cassette depicts the history of the Vancouver Jewish Community Center. The film begins with the center's move to its current location (41st and Oak) in 1962, and describes the process of creating a new center. The film goes into detail about the construction of the JCC, as well as the members of the Jewish community who were instrumental to the building of the new Center (including Dr. Irving and Phyliss Snider).

File contains a variety of pins, medallions, medals and buttons. There are four different types of military buttons (each having multiples); 1 medal in pouch (A & A.S.R. Canada, 50 years); 1 unidentified medallion in box (1866-1966); 1 unidentified medallion with inscription on back "I.E. Snider, 1924"; variety of pins from Canada, BC, Yukon and Russia.

Cardboard box to hold slides. Tape on box reads: "Px golf club; ducks not good." Sent in the mail from Harold Nemetz, D.D.S., 138 Town and Country, Orange, California 92668 to Dr. Irving Snider, 925 W. George, Vancouver, B.C." Box contains a slip of paper for the RGB Price List Eastmancolor negative and slide processing.
