Photograph attached to scrapbook. It depicts Chuck Kemp (standing, left), Maurice Lifchus (standing, right), and resident children of a Children's Aid Society receiving home on 59th Avenue and Oak Street in Vancouver. Members of the B'nai B'rith Canadian Committee on Civic Affairs volunteered their time to construct playground equipment for the children living at the home. The children are seen playing with the equipment.
Photograph depicts from L-R Eileen Cristall, Retta Krasnoff, Shirley Diner. The three women are standing in what is probably their booth at the Hadassah Bazaar which is what appears to be a Hawaiian or South Pacific themed booth. There is a sign over their heads that says: 'Grass Shack'. This image came from Shirley Diner's daughter Lynne Altman.
