Nancy Appleton

Oral history interview with Nancy Appleton who was born in Winnipeg in 1914 and her father was involved in the Schara Tzedeck synagogue and Nancy volunteered for 51 years for the Red Cross Blood Donor Clinic. Nancy was also the president for a time for the Liberal Ladies Auxillary and Schara Tzedeck's Women’s Auxiliary.

Anne Melul has been active in the Vancouver Jewish community since her arrival in 1962, and has been shaped by formative experiences in studying abroad, teaching, traveling, motherhood, and 52 years of marriage to her husband Albert Melul, She has also been an active member of the National Council of Jewish Women and the Sephardic Orthodox congregation Beth Hamidrash.
