He recalls the importance of B’nai B’rith's Anti-Defamation League in combating antisemitism in the first half of the century. He went to Law school, starting Freeman & Co. in 1935, which now numbers sixty associates. Has remained involved in the Jewish community with the Canadian Council of Christians & Jews, the Weitzman Institute and Young Judaea.
